Scheduling

Frequently Asked Questions

How far out do you schedule?

It is always changing depending on our work load. A general rule is about 4 weeks in the winter and up to 8 weeks by the summer.

Sometimes we simply do not take on new projects because we would have to schedule it out so far.

April 25, 2024 Update: We’re currently having a busy spring, but have a decent amount of walkthrough availability. 6-8 weeks to begin a project after walkthrough.

My project is large, how long will it take you to finish it?

Before we officially take on a project Adam will make sure to communicate with the client about how many “man hours” he thinks the project will take and by what date we will be done. Since we have a crew of four this can drastically change the number of visits needed to complete the project.

We rarely work consecutive days on a project. A general rule is a visit a week until the project is complete. But total man hours and finish date are most important to us.

We do our best to balance the schedule fairly for every on going project. Our experience is that it all evens out by the end.

I have an electrical emergency, can you help?

During our busier seasons any juggling we could do to our schedule is usually reserved for existing clients’ emergencies. If you would be a new client, we hope you keep reaching out to other electricians.

A typical emergency response would be the next work day, even for an existing client. This, of course, depends on the emergency.
