Briggs & Stratton Generator Client FAQs

  • Every Tuesday @ 2pm for 6 seconds unless you have changed the settings

  • Generator issues include: failure to exercise, a ‘rough’ exercise, an error code displaying while you still have utility power.

    Generator emergencies are limited to: failure to start during a utility power outage and shutting off during a utility power outage.

  • When was the last time you got fuel?

    Has it been exactly a year since we maintenanced?

Select type of your generator for specific info

  • 12kw Generator (w/prime mover)

    This is a 12kw sized generator with a prime mover- identified by a red safety on the on/off switch.

  • 17 to 20 kw Generator

    These are larger generators- identified by their hinged lid rather than the need to remove screws to open up the unit. Or ‘whole house’ generator
